Ask the site owner of hinastar if he can provide us with the files to the site, and say....we host the files here?

What's wrong with creating a directory about Love Hina, say www.animeb.com/LoveHina/ and basically just copy all the files into it?

We can stamp our own animeB logo everywhere. We can use the one in the upper right hand corner of the HKSS or regular skin.

yeah, there's technically no reason we can't do that... But still, don't you think it'd be a bit more rewarding to come up with our own design and content rather than doing a wholesale copy of someone else's work?

Admittedly, it's a great site, but there'd not be much there we'd have done ourselves.

it would be cheating, and people wouldn't be getting much that's new. We can learn from that page, maybe use bits that work well, but not a wholesale copypaste. Even with the owner's permission, that doesn't sound right :\

Easily dished out, that bit... Someone's got to step up and say they want to write a brief plot synopsis for the series then. Once we get info together, we can discuss how best to tart it up and design special pages? Or would we have info posts stuck in the LH and Negima boards?

I think its a great idea ^_^
True its a massive task as some-one above said, but there are lots of people here and many experts in different areas of love hina and negima. Deligation deligation deligation! everyone gets one simple task and when it is all put together you may have the biggest depository of KA's greatest works. Certainly worth any effort needed, i'll help where-ever i can ^_^
However, bandwidth-wise is this going to be a problem? im not a computere xpert but i think that if you add more then there could be difficulties in that department... Something for the Techies to look into i guess..
A Question: Would it be attached to the site via a link? or will it be intergrated into animeb itself? the second option would provide a massive pulling power for "fresh meat" into the site, i searched google for love hina for years until i found animeb, if the search engines pull up our referrence of all the info, when people are met by a huge online community they would probably join up too!! That will mean more staff required though, as well as the risk of acquiring new memebers (be they nice or not, lucky dip)
And then again, why stop with an information link? How about an online shop for those of us (like me) who dont have a local anime/manga retailer nearby? For example, i cant find Negima anywhere, so i have to settle with love hina, if there was a shop on here that sold all the anime dvds and the manga series too then that would be some essential funds to the running of animeb (so long as it doesnt all go into Hinarei's nana fund ^_^)
Any other ideas or comments?

Can't see it actually being built into the forum, but I see no reason why such a site couldn't run on the same server and be prominently linked from in 'ere somewhere

I must admit I didn't want to see this on the backburner, but what with events turning out as they have...

we need to pick uip on this soon
